(all cars subject to inspection at any time) 1. Any full-bodied passenger car, 1950 or newer. Full frame or unibody. If used, rub rails may be attached to body from fender well to fender well, and be no bigger than 1” x 2”. They must be flush with body and painted to match car. 2. All frames must have stock OEM rear suspension and match frame with stock components only. Floater rear ends are allowed. No quick change device. All rear suspension parts must match make and year of the car. Weight jacks are optional. Front suspension and steering must not be altered, OEM, and be in stock location. Tubular upper control arms are allowed. NO fabricated spindles. 3. Engines must be steel block and heads with steel or aluminum intake. MSD type ignitions are allowed. The 500 CFM 4412 Holley is the only carburetor allowed. The choke blade can be removed, but the original choke tower must be retained. No other modifications. 4. Minimum 6-post roll cage must be used. Must have a minimum of 3 door bars. Front (not to exceed 1 ¾” OD ) and rear hoop to the frame allowed. Round tubing loop is to be a single bar. May tie front horns together. Must have a firewall. If in drivers compartment, battery must be enclosed in “boat battery box”. 5. One racing shock allowed per wheel. No aluminum. 6. All combustible materials must be removed (liner, upholstery). All original seats must be removed. All glass and chrome must be removed. 7. Tires and wheels must be 8” max. steel wheels. No aluminum, plastic, or fiberglass wheels allowed. Maximum tire width 9” measured by “footprint”. Bead lock allowed on right rear only. 8. All cars must weigh a minimum of 3200 pounds. 9. Fuel cell is required. NO ALCOHOL. 10. Triple disc clutches and direct drive set-ups are legal. 11. Approved safety belts and harnesses (must be 3” quick release belts) are required. Must be securely fastened to car frame or roll cage. Helmet and fire resistant suit required. (rules subject to change without notice) |
